Shift: 3w ON x 3w OFF, 12 hrs/day minimum while on shift in Prudhoe Bay
Pay: $30-38/hr
Job Summary:
The Electro-Mechanical Technician plays a vital role in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment on offshore oil and gas facilities. This role ensures the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of production, drilling, and support systems in challenging offshore environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair a wide range of electro-mechanical equipment, including motors, pumps, generators, compressors, and HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in electrical and mechanical systems using testing equipment and technical documentation.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment such as VFDs, PLCs, MCCs, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
- Conduct inspections and ensure all work complies with offshore safety and operational standards.
- Collaborate with electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical teams during shutdowns, upgrades, and overhauls.
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and spare part usage.
- Support commissioning and start-up of new or modified systems.
Requirements:
- Diploma, Associate’s Degree, or Trade Certification in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in electro-mechanical maintenance, preferably in offshore oil and gas operations.
- Strong knowledge of both electrical (low/medium voltage, PLCs, controls) and mechanical (pumps, valves, gearboxes) systems.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in offshore environments under rotational schedules.
- Familiarity with offshore safety procedures and regulations.

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
