Job Description
AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Civil Engineer to be based in New York, NY.
This position is expected to begin in late spring/early summer.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Building analytic and design skills.
- Conducting engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Creating designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Collecting and analyzing data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Using computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
- Performing work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering or Construction Engineering Technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Drafting/CAD applications (MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
