Job Overview
The Barn Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of a state of the art equestrian facility, and ensuring the well-being of all horses. This position requires a dedicated individual with strong leadership skills. The Barn Manager will supervise staff, maintain equipment, and ensure that all farming practices align with our standards.
Duties
- Supervise and train barn staff in daily operations.
- Overseeing the health and welfare of the horses including proper feeding, medical care, turnout, blanketing etc.
- Manage maintenance of barn facilities, ordering of hay, shavings
- Operate farm machinery including mowers and tractor.
- Responsibility for maintaining paddocks and footing in indoor and outdoor rings.
- Maintain accurate records related to animal health, feed inventory, and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in horsemanship.
Qualifications
Must have extensive horse experience and experience in running a day to day operation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.23 - $26.77 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
