Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, including endodontics.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Take dental radiographs using medical imaging equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups to ensure optimal clinic operations.
- Uphold aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
Experience
- Previous experience in dental assisting is required, with experience in a dental clinic setting.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques, medical imaging, and endodontics is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
