Pretty Kitty Threads is a handmade fashion brand known for bold, unique, and size-inclusive rave and exoticwear. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Fabric Cutter / Pattern Assistant to join our small, creative team. This is a part-time position, perfect for someone who enjoys working with fabric and contributing to a fast-paced, fashion-forward environment.
Responsibilities:
- Cut fabric accurately using pre-marked patterns
- Tape and assemble paper sewing patterns as needed
- Label and organize cut pieces by order or project
- Follow detailed instructions to ensure precision and consistency
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Communicate any issues with patterns or materials promptly
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with fabric handling or pattern cutting is preferred
- Comfortable using scissors, rotary cutters, and pattern weights
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Must be dependable, focused, and able to meet deadlines
