Female Day DSP

Duties:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a home care setting
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Support individuals in meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
• Assist with transportation to appointments, community outings, and recreational activities
• Engage individuals in social and recreational activities to promote socialization and community integration
• Document and maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress, and any incidents that occur
• Ensure a safe home/workplace environment

Experience:

• Previous experience in caregiving, or patient care is preferred
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus

All applicants must:

• be 18 years of age or older
• be able to provide proof of employment eligibility
• be able to successfully pass a State of Minnesota background check
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
