SUMMARY
The Finance & Insurance (F&I) Team Leader plays a pivotal role in driving and growing the F&I business for Atkins Kroll Guam and Saipan by overseeing the development, execution, and growth of the F&I business. This position is responsible for, but not limited to, managing the team of Business Managers in Guam and Saipan, acting as the primary liaison with banking and insurance partners, assist in driving performance to achieve goals, and ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and any applicable F&I regulatory requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Directly manage and supervise the team of Business Managers in Guam and Saipan.
- Review and analyze, on an ongoing basis, the performance of the Business Managers.
- Act as the primary liaison with banking and insurance partners, ensuring strong collaboration and competitive offerings.
- Participate in negotiations to secure favorable terms on all F&I offerings.
- Periodically audit F&I deals with post sale to identify any areas for improvement and confirm compliance.
- Generate monthly schedules for the Business Managers.
- Work closely with Sales Managers to address any F&I related concerns in the vehicle delivery process.
- Hold routine meetings with the Business Managers to discuss performance and address any issues or concerns.
- Support the Head of F&I in managing the F&I financial scorecard and driving performance against annual operating plans.
- Monitor and manage vehicle receivables.
- Work closely with Banks and their associates on loan exception requests, loan deferrals/extensions, funding issues, or any other matters related to F&I banking relationships.
- Prepare necessary monthly reports and presentations for routine sales meetings.
- Work closely with the Compliance Officer to ensure compliance with Inchcape’s F&I internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Attend monthly general sales meeting to discuss relevant F&I topics, updates, and, concerns.
- Be aware of any market trends, competitive activities and rates.
- Conduct business in an ethical and professional manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- Equivalent work experience
- Experience
- 3 – 5 years’ experience managing and supervising a team
- Prior banking and/or consumer lending experience is strongly preferred
- Prior experience working at an auto dealership is strongly preferred
