Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled specialist to support fiber network reporting, design, and analysis activities for a critical telecom project. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expert-level Microsoft Office proficiency and possess hands-on experience with NJUNS, ORCA reporting, ARAMIS, GIS systems, and GPON distribution layout planning. This role is crucial for producing accurate reports, design documentation, and route layouts to support both greenfield and brownfield fiber deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including fiber PF rate reports.
- Provide detailed analysis and summaries to support design and planning teams.
- Utilize NJUNS and ORCA systems for joint use coordination and reporting.
- Create OSAD/ODAD layouts and design GPON distribution routes for greenfield and brownfield overlay projects.
- Support various design tasks and documentation as required.
- Use ARAMIS to extract relevant planning and engineering data.
- Apply GIS tools to support fiber mapping and route optimization.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Hands-on experience with NJUNS and associated ORCA reporting tools.
- Proficient in ARAMIS and GIS-based work environments.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail.
- Prior experience working on fiber layout and GPON architecture projects preferred.
Additional Information:
- No Client training will be provided – candidates must be self-sufficient and experienced.
- Workspace available at OSPE office in Gulfport, MS if needed; must be coordinated with the Work Coordinator.
