Job Title: First Impressions Director

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an empathetic "people person" who is comfortable being awesome in their role, a good communicator, and an active listener. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in building a relationship during the initial intake call and ensuring a seamless scheduling process while framing their future appointments in a positive light. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a genuine desire to help others, and a passion for delivering outstanding patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming calls and inquiries, providing prompt and courteous assistance to patients and referring providers.
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently, taking into account their preferences and the availability of our providers.
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure optimal scheduling and efficient use of resources.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and collect necessary information for billing purposes.
- Collect payments over the phone
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in our electronic health record system.
- Address patient concerns and inquiries with empathy and professionalism, ensuring a positive experience at every interaction.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with scheduling software and electronic health records.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Genuine empathy and a desire to help people.
