Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing the Aloha POS system for processing transactions.
- Assist with bussing tables, ensuring that dining areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Sanitate surfaces and equipment regularly to uphold health and safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist customers effectively.
- Support team members in various tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations in the restaurant.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or quick-service fast food environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus for managing transactions effectively.
- Experience in the food industry or culinary background is advantageous for understanding food preparation processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality service.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for interacting with customers and team members alike.
