Restaurant Expeditor (Expo)
Sand Hollow Resort is a premier destination to Escape. Play. Discover. Relax. One of Southern Utah’s top-ranked golf destinations, our golf course is ranked in the top 50 out of the 100 top resort golf courses. The resort encompasses over 180 units ranging from one (1) to six (6) bedrooms for guests to relax during their stay. Dine in our picturesque restaurant, The Grille, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the gorgeous Southern Utah mountain ranges, ending your evening with a concert underneath the stars in our gorgeous Rock Bowl.

The Expeditor with The Grille at Sand Hollow Resort serves as the critical link between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, ensuring that all food orders are prepared accurately, appropriately plated, and delivered to guests in a timely and organized manner. At our restaurant, the Expeditor plays a crucial role in upholding high service standards and enhancing the overall guest dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the liaison between kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timely and accurate food orders
- Ensure each dish is properly plated, garnished, and meets presentation and quality standards before leaving the kitchen
- Communicate any special requests, modifications, or allergies to kitchen staff clearly and efficiently
- Monitor food order tickets to manage flow and prevent delays or bottlenecks during service
- Organize completed dishes by table and course to streamline delivery by servers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pass-through and expediting station
- Assist with restocking and inventory of expediting supplies as needed
- Help maintain smooth communication between the culinary and service teams, especially during peak dining times
- Assist with special requests and dietary accommodations, as needed
- Report any issues or delays in food preparation to management promptly
- Uphold all resort and food safety standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a restaurant expeditor, server, or in a similar fast-paced dining environment preferred
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation
- Ability to thrive in a high-energy, team-oriented environment
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Familiarity with POS systems and kitchen display systems is a plus
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced kitchen and dining room environment
- Standing for long periods and handling hot food items
- May involve evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, especially during peak resort seasons
Pay: $16-$18/hr, DOE
