Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a strong commitment to food safety, customer satisfaction, and effective communication within the team.
Must be over the age of 18.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure that all orders are complete and presented beautifully before serving to guests.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down banquet events as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to facilitate smooth service during peak hours.
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling techniques at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Experience with POS systems such as Toast POS is a plus.
- Background in culinary arts, hospitality, or guest services is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
