We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing food orders and transactions. Duties
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and provide change as needed while maintaining accurate cash handling practices.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, kitchen, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Buss tables promptly to ensure a clean dining environment for guests.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies as necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any customer concerns promptly.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Experience in food preparation and handling within a quick service or fast food restaurant setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Sales experience with an emphasis on upselling techniques is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards in the food industry.
