Job Overview
- Proficiency in basic data recovery and forensic analysis across a wide range of electronic devices, including computers and mobile phones.
- Experience in recovering and analyzing internet trace evidence.
- Knowledge of data recovery and analysis methods across various technology platforms.
- Familiarity with forensic tools such as EnCase or equivalent advanced computer forensics software.
- Formal training in internet crime investigations.
- Experience in forensic analysis of computer systems and network environments.
In addition, applicants must have hands-on experience in conducting computer forensic investigations, particularly in areas such as:
- Internet-based fraud and larceny
- Child pornography and exploitation cases
- Cyber harassment, threats, or assault
- Online enticement
