We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team in providing exceptional guest experiences at our hotel. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring that all guest needs are met with efficiency and courtesy. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a background in hospitality management, and the ability to handle various front desk operations.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with information about hotel services and amenities.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while maintaining accurate guest records.
- Handle reservations, modifications, and cancellations using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Assist with night audit responsibilities as needed, balancing daily transactions and preparing reports for management.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area while adhering to hotel policies and procedures.
- Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and events to enhance the guest experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse clientele.
- Proficiency in phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems effectively.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and practices, including night audit procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on professionalism.
