Summary of Position:
Are you personable, organized, and passionate about healthcare? We’re looking for a Front Desk Chiropractic Assistant to join our team at a well-established chiropractic office that also provides physical therapy services. As the face of our clinic, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional environment for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently
- Verify insurance and collect co-pays and payments
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a timely manner
- Assist with administrative tasks including data entry and file management
- Support clinical staff by coordinating patient needs and helping maintain office flow
- Provide assistance during patient therapy sessions, including setting up therapy equipment and helping patients transition between modalities under supervision
- Assist the doctor as needed to support efficient clinical workflow and ensure smooth office operations.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and waiting area
- Assist in prepping patient rooms between appointments
- Track patient attendance and follow-up on missed appointments
- Help educate patients on office policies, services, and general wellness support
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred. but not required)
- Prior experience in customer service setting (preferred. but not required)
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR software and general computer skills (will train)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and compassionate attitude
- Bilingual – Spanish (preferred)
