Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the front desk operations of our medical facility, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients while efficiently handling administrative tasks. This role requires proficiency in medical office management and excellent patient service skills.
Duties
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage medical scheduling, including appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Utilize Advanced MD software for patient management and office administration.
- Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information regarding services offered.
- Assist in medical coding and billing processes as needed.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to facilitate smooth patient flow within the clinic.
- Ensure the reception area is organized, clean, and stocked with necessary materials.
- Support office management tasks including inventory management and supply ordering.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a medical or dental clinic setting is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to provide exceptional patient service and maintain professionalism under pressure.
- Familiarity with medical billing practices is a plus.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
