Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and assist them with seating arrangements.
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to optimize guest flow.
- Provide menus and offer recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including dining tables, waiting areas, and restrooms.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to communicate special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
- Assist in training new staff members on front-of-house procedures and customer service standards.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and customer service best practices is preferred.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Previous experience in a customer service role is a plus but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
