Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role is crucial in ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience, while also managing the front-of-house staff effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise front-of-house staff, including hosts, servers, and bartenders, ensuring high standards of service and professionalism.
- Coordinate daily restaurant operations, including reservations, seating arrangements, and guest interactions.
- Train and mentor new employees on service protocols, food handling procedures, and menu knowledge.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for guests by ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
- Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
- Implement promotional activities to drive business growth and enhance the dining experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or a related field within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and health regulations.
- Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills to interact with guests and staff professionally.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for coffee culture or experience in coffee service is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
