Front Office Assistant
General Purpose
- Monitor and assist the flow of the front office
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Provide full front office receptionist and administrative duties
- Welcome and greet ALL patients and visitors, in person and over the phone
- Facilitate patient flow by notifying the provider of patient arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff
- Answer and transfer calls
- Facilitate inquiries and requests
- Prepare patient charts
- Perform general clerical functions
- Copy documents
Education and Experience
- Associate degree or at least 2 years of College
- 2+ years of work experience in health care, business, or human resources setting
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
- Knowledge of computers and relevant software application
Compensations:
- Monday-Thursday 8:15-6:00
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
Work Location: In person
