Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure the accuracy of our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting principles, including GAAP, and have hands-on experience with various accounting software, particularly Xero. This role requires proficiency in account reconciliation, accounts receivable, and double entry bookkeeping to maintain the financial health of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Maintain general ledger entries and prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in budgeting processes by providing accurate financial data and forecasts.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management review.
- Utilize 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry and record keeping.
- Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits to provide necessary documentation.
- Ensure timely filing of all tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Knowledge of foreign currency and transactions
- Working Experience with Google Cloud apps (Sheets, Docs, Drive)
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role in corporate accounting.
- Proficiency in Intuit QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including double entry bookkeeping and GAAP.
- Excellent skills in account reconciliation, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in 10 key typing for accurate data entry.
- A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not required based on experience.
