We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash and compost as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow during peak service times.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in the organization of storage areas for clean dishes and kitchen supplies.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is highly desirable.
- Experience in bussing tables or serving can be beneficial for understanding the flow of service.
- Culinary experience or training in food preparation is a plus, but not required.
