Bloomberg’s Electronic Trading Solutions (ETS) Department unites all of Bloomberg’s cross-asset electronic trading platforms, delivering trading solutions and analytics to both our Buyside and Sellside clients. Our solutions are an integral part of the Bloomberg network, allowing our clients to seamlessly stage, monitor, trade, clear, allocate and perform TCA all on one platform. In addition to consolidating workflows, securing terminals, and growing our franchise market share, we offer many revenue-generating solutions that integrate with Bloomberg and non-Bloomberg OMS solutions, on both sides of the market.What's the role?As a result of the continued success and growth of the ETS business we are further expanding our eFX sales team in AMER to promote our FXGO offering. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to drive business across Sellside clients in North America by building out new interest and increasing the e-trading footprint across the client base as well as strengthening our existing relationships with key players in the markets.
As an eFX Account Manager you will be tasked to build deep, value-focused relationships with clients, and to engage with them on ways they can grow and advance their business by partnering with Bloomberg for their trading, automation, and analysis needs.
You will be working closely with your colleagues across Bloomberg Enterprise Sales to help identify relevant prospects that we can work with across all asset classes for ETS, as well as the wider enterprise offering. You will also be a conduit to our Product team, identifying and communicating strategic enhancements to embed our offering within our client’s trading ecosystem.
We'll trust you to:
- Demonstrate a strong level of market player type knowledge, understanding how that player type makes money, does their job, and uses technology
- Be able to demonstrate functionality and workflows of applicable Bloomberg solutions that cater to specific market player types
- Develop a sound understanding of Bloomberg’s wider suite of products, how they integrate with financial markets and be able to position our solutions to your clients
- Collaborate with your clients to help determine gaps in their workflow to position relevant solutions which will increase their usage of the terminal and marquee products
- Self-starter mentality and be responsible for the coverage region including monitoring at-risk users to defend the Bloomberg business
- Manage usage campaigns, both self and business initiated to achieve business targets
- Contribute innovative ideas that anticipate and address client needs
- Participate actively in new projects that drive departmental and firm-wide initiatives
- Promote the Bloomberg ETS brand and keep on top of market trends and the competitor landscape
- Attend industry events
You'll need to have:
- Experience selling Electronic trading technology solutions to financial institutions
- Client facing experience with FX traders
- Established track record of both relationship management and client support
- Knowledge of Electronic Trading, Execution Management Systems and Trading Connectivity
- Strong understanding of the impact of regulation, market structure and compliance on electronic trading
- Good understanding of the eFX vendor competitive landscape
- Familiarity with buy-side and sell-side trading workflows
- Project Management skills
- Problem solving skills and have a strong "can do" attitude
- Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Enthusiasm for learning
- The ability to travel

Salary Range = 125000 - 185000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
