THE PAY: BASE PLUS TIPS
Yes, you heard us right. Here, we don't believe in the 'front of house' or 'back of house'.... at Noodlepig, there is only one house. Therefore, and in a nod to the 'Japanese Way' that no job is above any another, we offer universal tip pooling. We distribute tips equally based on hours worked in that pay period.
* Current tip average is $5-$6 per hour. For example, working 40hrs/week in the same capacity as other tip-earners (i.e. working the line, food prep), 50 weeks in the year, $5/hr tips would equate to and additional $10k/yr.

Our Hiring Process:

Application: Resume submission

Casting Call: In-person interview, 30-45 minutes.

Call Backs: Call-backs will be offered a paid working interview, 6-10 shifts. Candidate will begin to learn/on-board, and getting A good way for both sides to ‘try it before you buy it’.

The Audition: Hire and Training: 1 month probationary period of paid training, learning in each station. Hands-on experience to verify if this is truly a solid fit for both parties. Training length of time solely depends on the candidate and ability learn and retain our operations and procedures, approximately 4 weeks.

NOTE: During training, the employee will receive a probationary hourly compensation of approximately $20/hr ($15/hr wage plus $4-$5/hr in tips).

Graduation to GM: GM will be transitioned to the full salary pay once they can officially operate independently. Training wheels are off and the GM is officially operating independently!
