We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food service and hospitality industry, with a proven ability to manage operations effectively. As the General Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive profitability while maintaining a positive work environment for staff.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, training, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Manage cash handling processes, including daily reconciliation and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and drive repeat business.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and quality service.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering processes to minimize waste.
- Lead shift management activities to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Foster a positive team culture through effective communication and leadership.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
- Strong understanding of cash handling procedures and financial management.
- Experience in quick service fast food restaurants or bars is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations effectively.
- Bartending experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
