SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS
The General Services Assistant adheres to the specific schedule set forth by the Department Supervisor, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently. They clean facilities during and after business hours, minimizing disruption to daily banking operations. Exterior upkeep involves washing sidewalks, windows, and rooftops using department-approved equipment. Routine tasks are performed to maintain the bank's presentation to the public, including tracking inventory and restocking storage rooms as necessary. They maintain and update equipment and supply lists, file invoices, and monitor supplier prices for cost-effectiveness. Additionally, they cover for other assistants when needed, handle non-emergency calls, and coordinate emergency supply orders from departments and branches to ensure timely delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS
- One or more years' experience in job related fields performing general labor.
- Good understanding of safety and health standards to ensure accurate use of equipment and chemicals.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
