The Global and National Security Institute (GNSI) is seeking a motivated and dependable Student Assistant to support administrative related functions in alignment with the Institute’s mission.
- Assist the Grant Coordinator and Academic Director.
- Edit documents and create presentations.
- Prepare and reset conference rooms for scheduled functions, meetings, and events.
- Perform clerical duties utilizing Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other platforms such as Teams.
- Maintain and organization of conference supplies and materials.
- Greet visitors professionally and assist with reception coverage when needed.
- Make deliveries on campus using a golf cart.
- Provide general office support to the GNSI team and assist with tasks as assigned by the Senior Director.
- Occasionally assist with events outside of standard business hours.
- Must be a current USF student.
- Ability to multitask, follow directions, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and dependability.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and willingness to rotate assignments on short notice.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Teams.
- Professional demeanor when interacting with guests and stakeholders.
