Job Position: Grinding
Location: Loves Park, IL 61111
Pay Rate: $19.00-21.00 based on experience
Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Description:
Come and join a manufacturer with over 50 years of experience and expertise with steel tooling, carbide tooling, and precision machining. We are seeking a Grinder in Loves Park, IL.

Grinding Duties and Responsibilities
- Set-up, prove out, and operation of OD/ID/Surface Grinder by following customer blueprints in a job shop environment
- Perform close-tolerance grinding work
- Perform quality checks by use of precision measuring instruments
Grinding Qualifications and Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the precision grinding process including wheel selection and offsets and ability to perform close tolerance work
- 3+ years of experience in OD, ID, and/or Surface Grinding with manual machining and setup
- Grinding certification is a plus
- Ability to work overtime on short notice
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
