We are seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our Grounds Crew team. This role is essential for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail. As a member of the Grounds Crew, you will be responsible for various landscape maintenance tasks, ensuring that our grounds are well-kept and inviting.
Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Engage in hardscape projects such as building patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for digging, planting, and maintaining garden beds.
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
- Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify areas needing attention or improvement.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and basic mechanical repairs as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with lawn care practices and garden maintenance techniques is advantageous.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus for operating and maintaining landscaping equipment.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while demonstrating physical stamina.
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
