As a member of the Grounds Crew, you will be responsible for various landscape maintenance tasks, ensuring that our grounds are well-kept and inviting.
Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Engage in hardscape projects such as building patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for digging, planting, and maintaining garden beds.
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
- Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify areas needing attention or improvement.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and basic mechanical repairs as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with lawn care practices and garden maintenance techniques is advantageous.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus for operating and maintaining landscaping equipment.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while demonstrating physical stamina.
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
