Summary
JOB SUMMARY
Proficient in all aspects of histochemistry. Performs tasks according to established standards and practices associated with accessioning, specimen processing, embedding, microtomy, immunohistochemistry, special stains and frozen sections. These tasks include troubleshooting, instrument maintenance and quality control duties to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Interpersonal communication skills, (both written and oral) are required in order to effectively interact with a variety of hospital personnel and outside contacts
