Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role is crucial in managing the flow of guests and maintaining a positive dining experience.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
- Utilize the Aloha POS system to track guest seating and manage waitlists.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, enhancing overall guest relations.
- Provide assistance to guests as needed, ensuring their needs are met throughout their dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus but not required.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help guests and team members alike.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
