Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Busser. As a Host/Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a positive dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional guest service.
Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor upon arrival
- Seat guests and provide them with menus
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests
- Assist servers with delivering food and beverages to tables as needed
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations or inquiries
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Provide assistance to guests as needed, such as helping with coats or directing them to restrooms
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
