JOB DESCRIPTION:
Busy sports bar and restaurant looking for hosts and to go servers to work in a quick pace environment. Hands on experience with cash register is a plus. To Go Servers will be responsible to take/serve orders, answer questions, and make recommendations off our current and special food menus. We are looking to create a welcoming neighborhood vibe with friendly/professional staff, great menu and beverage options, and special promotions that will keep customers eager to return.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for welcoming our guests and serving drinks and food in a courteous and timely manner.
- Communicates with guests during their entire meal to ensure they are enjoying their dining experience.
- Practices alcohol awareness and exercise good judgement when serving guests alcohol to comply with applicable laws.
- Maintains professional, composed and calm demeanor at all times.
- Assists in an entire team effort.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Full service restaurant experience. (preferred)
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Organization skill; ability to be organized in a changing environment.
- Ability to maintain a calm professional demeanor at all times.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to reach, bend, squat and lift while on the shift.
- Ability to carry items weighing up to 50 pounds up to 20 times per shift.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
