Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including hotels, hospitality venues, and industrial facilities. This position requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and a proactive approach to housekeeping management.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, common areas, and facilities.
- Manage floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and effectively.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to maintain quality standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with laundry services as needed, ensuring linens are clean and well-maintained.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a seamless guest experience in hospitality settings.
- Uphold the highest levels of cleanliness in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or custodial services is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting or moving items.
