Overview
Looking for a professional and detail-oriented housekeeper to help keep client's home clean, organized, and running smoothly. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes initiative, and enjoys creating a tidy, well-cared-for home environment. This is primarily a housekeeping role (85%), with occasional light childcare support (15%) - such as school pickups and overseeing kids at home for short periods.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping (Primary Duties)
- Daily cleaning of kitchen, bathrooms, floors, and living spaces
- Laundry: wash, dry, fold, and put away (clothes, linens, towels)
- Keep closets, drawers, toy storage neat and tidy
- Seasonal deep cleaning (e.g. baseboards, fridge, etc.)
- Take out trash and recycling
- Occasional errands (grocery pick-up)
Light Nanny Support (As Needed)
- School pickup for 1-2 children when parents have a conflict
- Supervise older children at home for short periods (ages 13-15)
- Light meal prep
- Friendly and respectful interaction with teens - not full-on caregiving
The Right Fit Will Be:
- Experienced with professional housekeeping (3+ years preferred)
- Trustworthy, proactive, and organized
- Comfortable with dogs
- Legal to work in the U.S.
- Fully vaccinated
- Clean driving record (if driving is involved)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
