Housekeeping/Maintenance Supervisor
What this job involves:
As a Housekeeping/Maintenance Supervisor at JLL, you'll be responsible for sustaining our comprehensive Facility Management Program by providing direct supervision of operational support personnel across multiple disciplines. You'll serve as a key liaison between building occupants and operational teams, ensuring seamless communication and project execution. What your day-to-day will look like:
- Supervise and direct JLL maintenance technicians, mobile equipment technicians, general housekeeping personnel, and industrial cleaning staff
- Manage vendor contracts and coordinate with outside contractors to resolve building operational issues and implement assigned projects
- Oversee mechanical systems including HVAC/R, indoor air quality management, temperature control, building exhaust systems, and preventative maintenance programs
- Monitor power systems infrastructure including electrical substations, emergency power systems, UPS systems, and standby generators
- Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations, including OSHA requirements, HAZMAT compliance, and environmental emergency response
- Manage fleet operations including scheduled preventative maintenance, inventory control, and emergency repair coordination
- Conduct safety tours, assist with inspections, and provide on-site coverage during weekend production as required
Required qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management
- Minimum of 2 years industry experience in facilities or maintenance operations
- Strong organizational and management skills with proven ability to provide direction to staff
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation abilities with demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency and experience with building systems and maintenance operations
- Knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with building automation and monitoring systems, data centers, and security systems
- Knowledge of life/safety systems including fire sprinkler systems, smoke/fire detection, and evacuation planning
- Familiarity with ISO compliance and environmental compliance initiatives
- Experience managing industrial cleaning operations including dry-ice blasting and ultra-high pressure water blasting
- Background in energy conservation initiatives and commodity resource management
