Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Administrator to join our dynamic HR team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various HR functions, processing the weekly payroll, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting the overall human capital management strategy of the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience with HRIS systems such as Paycom, and possess a solid understanding of OSHA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage employee records and maintain HRIS data accuracy.
- Processing weekly payroll within weekly timeline.
- Oversee onboarding processes for new hires.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs and compliance with FMLA.
- Coordinate and process proper documentation for any Workers Compensation issues.
- Reporting with state Employment Security Offices; verifying employment details
- Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
- Facilitate communication between employees and management regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information while providing support to staff as needed.
- Administer the company 401(K) plan overseeing weekly contributions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an HR administrative role or similar position.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Paycom, Paychex, or Paylocity is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of FMLA regulations and OSHA compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
