Position Overview
We are seeking a detail oriented and compassionate Human Resources Manager to join our team. This individual will support day to day human resources functions, payroll processing, and administrative tasks essential to maintaining a compliant and positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage core HR functions including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, benefits administration, leave management, and policy communication
- Support payroll processing for multi state employees, including updates to deductions, tax changes, garnishments, and benefit adjustments
- Assist with recruiting efforts, including job postings, interview coordination, and candidate communication
- Respond to employee inquiries related to HR and payroll matters, escalating when appropriate
- Help organize employee engagement activities and support ongoing HR projects and audits
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and Joint Commission standards
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in human resources or payroll preferred
- Working knowledge of wage and hour laws, HR compliance, and employment practices
- Proficiency with HR/payroll systems (ADP preferred)
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem solving ability
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information
- Comfortable working with employees across departments and senior leadership
Other Requirements
- Familiarity with Joint Commission standards preferred
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
