As a Ice Cream Maker, you will be responsible for preparing and serving our signature ice cream products, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve Dairy Queen's signature ice cream products, including cones, sundaes, blizzards, and shakes.
- Ensure consistency and quality in the preparation and presentation of all ice cream items.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- Operate the ice cream machines, blizzard mixers, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with stocking and replenishing ice cream supplies.
- Handle cash and process payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
- Assist with general cleaning duties and maintaining a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a food service or customer service role is preferred but not required.
- A passion for ice cream and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and guidelines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
