Position Summary
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for all maintenance processes on the Manufacturing floor. The position reports to the Director of Operations. Adheres to all Company rules/Procedures and make sure they are being followed. Ensure all employees’ work in a safe environment and follow all safety rules.
Results-driven Industrial Maintenance Manager with Skilled in preventive/predictive maintenance, industrial equipment, industrial electrical systems, and PLC programming/troubleshooting. Proven record of reducing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and implementing cost-saving strategies. Adept at managing cross-functional teams, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Provide preventative and reactive maintenance as necessary
- Work in a safe and professional manner with Safety always being the top priority
- Be familiar with equipment and operations within the entire facility
- Troubleshoot problems and correct them in a timely and economical manner
- Prioritize work time for maximum effectiveness
- Enforce all company procedures / work standards. Make sure team members are producing at company standards and that they are following company procedures. Investigate all variances and respond accordingly.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure all team members are trained to effectively perform their job duties. Develop and train back up team members for key jobs. Assist in building teams and promoting teamwork.
- Hold a five-minute start up meeting at the beginning of the shift to provide daily direction.
- Maintain equipment in good working order / inform maintenance and write out W/O if needed. Inform Director of Operations of any lingering issues or safety concerns from equipment.
- Verify timecards are accurate in the Time and Attendance system prior to payroll deadline.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Skills:
- 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting.2-year technical degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, industrial electrical systems, motor controls, power distribution, and automation controls.
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming, ladder logic, troubleshooting, and modifications.
- Proficiency with CMMS systems and maintenance best practices (TPM, Lean, Six Sigma).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to motivate team to accomplish objectives.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, and ERP systems
- Understanding of all equipment and processes that pertain to manufacturing experience with Allen-Bradley (RS Logix, Studio 5000), Siemens, or Omron PLC platforms.
- Knowledge of SCADA, HMI systems, and industrial networking.
- Certification such as CMRP, PMP, or PLC programming training is a plus.
- Experience implementing continuous improvement projects in a manufacturing environment.

Pay: $45.00 - $58.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
