Education and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years' plastics injection molding tooling experience (layout and build)
- Computer literate / CAD literate
- Qualified on all tool room equipment
- Excellent mechanical aptitude
- Good math skills
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safe operation of manual milling machines and lathes
- Programming, set-up and operation CNC milling machines, CNC WEDM machines (Charmilles), CNC Die sinking EDM machines, Manual EDM machines, saws, surface grinders
- Interpret customer-supplied parts, drawings, and computer files
- Mold layout, including materials, gates, vents, parting lines, overall size, shrinkage, heat transfer
- Fabricate high-quality injection molds
