Are you a sales enabler who enjoys demand generation and onboarding new customers?
At Sensient, the Inside Sales Representative role is a selling function whose primary duties includes both email and direct telephone contact with customers and occasional, field visits to key accounts.
What you’ll do:
- You will play a key role in qualifying customer information, maintaining a sales pipeline, implementing sales strategies, pricing, preparing quotations, communicating appropriate information to management, and maintaining related records and customer files.
- You will focus on, initiate, and maintain sales and service with existing and potential customers for our pharmaceutical markets in North America.
- You will work cross-functionally with our R&D, Commercial, Operational and Service teams.
What you’ll bring:
- A university degree in business or the sciences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, experience in B2B sales (ingredient, pharma or specialty chemical preferred), and technical acumen
- Excellent organization and project management skills, customer service and results orientation.
- Experience in CRM/Salesforce a plus
