Essential Duties

  • Install, commission, and calibrate flow meters and associated instrumentation across various process units.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on flow instrumentation to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with flow measurement systems, including signal transmission and sensor accuracy.
  • Interpret flow measurement data and collaborate with operations and engineering teams to optimize system performance.
  • Maintain detailed records of calibration, maintenance, and repair activities in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Provide technical support during process shutdowns, startups, and routine operations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to instrumentation and process efficiency.
  • Adhere to all safety and quality rules and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is essential for this position.

Education and/or Work Experience

  • Technical diploma or associate degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in industrial instrumentation with a strong focus on flow measurement.
  • Proficiency in working with various types of flow meters (Coriolis, magmeters, DP flow, vortex, etc.).
  • Must be proficient in using a Fluke 754 Documenting Process Calibrator for calibration and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with loop checks, P&IDs, and instrumentation diagrams.
  • Ability to use calibration tools and software for flow instrumentation.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Working as self-directed field/shop environment worker.
  • Experience with bending and running tubing is preferred.
  • TWIC, OSHA Safety, Security Passport.
  • Valid State issued driver’s license.
