POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for inventory integrity and accuracy of food bank inventory. This position performs daily cycle counts, product movement, transfers product between locations, and prepares and submits timely and accurate inventory reports using the CERES inventory management system.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Performs daily cycle counts, identifies variances, takes necessary corrective action to reconcile inventory and documents all actions and provides summary reports.
- Develops and maintains extensive knowledge of Ceres inventory management software.
- Performs thorough research and documents inventory discrepancies to identify root causes and supply possible solutions.
- Monitors inventory levels at all locations and takes the lead on transfers both physical and in Ceres between locations.
- Responsible for receiving, evaluating and documenting product recalls in accordance with Feeding America, AIB and our organizations recall policy.
- Monitors inventory to maintain and ensure proper product rotation.
- Follows all AIB, Feeding America, OSHA and other Federal, State and Local requirements.
- Participates in meetings and committees as appropriate.
- Complies with all SHFB policies and procedures.
- Maintains a professional, positive, and courteous demeanor.
- Performs other duties as assigned to meet company needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Undergraduate degree in business, industrial, or material management preferred, but not required.
Experience: 1‐3 years of experience in inventory control, and/or supply chain. Ceres software, and forklift, experience preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
