Bridge Community Development Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional for job related services to join our team. The ideal team member will have experience in workforce development, particularly with individuals facing developmental disabilities and autism. The Job Coach will play a crucial role in educating, training, and supporting individuals to enhance their skills and employability. Essential Duties
- Provide one-on-one coaching and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and autism.
- Develop personalized training plans to help individuals achieve their employment goals.
- Conduct interviews and assessments to identify strengths, challenges, and areas for growth.
- Collaborate with other Bridge team members and community partners to to provide holistic support.
- Implement training programs focusing on workforce development and employment labor law compliance.
- Assist in recruiting participants for coaching programs.
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in workforce development or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging training materials
- Understanding of training development principles.
- Certification or degree in social work or related field is a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
