About our Firm We are a boutique Family Law Firm with offices in Boca Raton and Coral Gables serving clients throughout South Florida. The Firm consists of one managing partner and one associate attorney, as well as three paralegals and an administrative team. As a fast-paced law firm, we require our team members to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Together, we work hard to protect the rights of our clients, guiding them through complex and often emotional family law issues. Our Opportunity: We are seeking an energetic, self-starter, team-oriented paralegal for a full-time position. Candidate must be a polished professional able to assist our attorneys with drafting, filing pleadings, preparing for hearings, and interacting with clients. Applicants should be experienced and can understand generally the knowledge of the Florida Family Law Rules of Procedure.

This is a fully remote position, with the exception of occasional visits to either office location and/or the courthouse, as needed.

Responsibilities:

· Assist attorneys in preparing and e-filing legal documentation, pleadings, and correspondence including but not limited to interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, pretrial orders, and affidavits

· Assist attorneys in preparing for trial by drafting exhibits, calendar and tasking deadlines, organizing and coordinating witnesses, and filing motions

· Draft subpoenas and coordinate with process servers

· Schedule and coordinate hearings, appointments, phone calls, and meetings for our attorneys

· Able to effectively communicate with clients and draft correspondence

· Demonstrate strong multitasking abilities, managing multiple responsibilities and priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

· Understand and navigate through our client management systems and legal software, organize client files, and other administrative duties as needed

· Effectively communicate with our team, instruct staff as needed, and receive instruction from Attorneys and Senior Paralegal – collaborating and working closely with Senior Paralegal

· Willing to travel to either office location and/or courthouse to assist with Trial and Trial preparation, as needed, on occasion

Experience:

· Family Law (Florida)

· Strong preference for candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have commensurate experience as a paralegal

· Billable hours

· Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat

· Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus, but not required
