Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and installation, with hands-on experience in various trades. This role involves working on-site to install, repair, and maintain a wide range of fixtures and systems, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Install and repair fixtures including cabinets, doors, and glass components.
- Perform plumbing and electrical tasks as required during installations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute projects accurately.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various installation tasks.
- Conduct construction site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members on construction management tasks and project planning.
- Execute concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work as needed.
- Carry out trim carpentry, plastering, roofing, and flooring installation duties.
- Engage in remodeling projects that may involve caulking, stucco application, and tile laying.
- Operate heavy equipment safely when required for specific installations or site preparation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction or a related field with strong technical skills.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction management principles.
- Familiarity with construction estimating practices is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, concrete forming, plastering, and restoration projects.
- Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience with fixture installation including cabinets, doors, glass, and other components.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
