Job Title: Lab Courier

Hours Per Week: 40
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:30am - 6pm
SUMMARY:
As a Courier, you are a professional who delivers and maintains specimen integrity and solves client issues so that our caregivers can provide accurate analysis and quality care to our patients.
Laboratory and pathology services are vital to the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease. With convenient patient laboratory service centers, home lab services, expert pathologists and in-hospital diagnostics, we offer the full range of testing services to the communities we serve.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily Assignments. Execute each courier route with efficiency, ensure the integrity of each delivery; access, navigate and send correspondence using designated computer
- Customer Service. Perform duties in a professional and courteous manner, promote superior customer service and customer relations; use sound judgment to problem solve if client issues arise; understand and respect patient confidentiality
- Documentation. Report equipment condition and notify coordinator of maintenance requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid New York State Driver’s License required.

- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and make decisions
- Rochester area geographical knowledge preferred
- Previous courier experience or systems driving experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous customer service related work experience
