Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various laboratory functions, ensuring adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP). This position requires a strong background in laboratory techniques and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Test sample materials according to established procedures
- Registration of incoming testing samples
- Record data accurately and impartially
- Care and maintenance of testing equipment and consumables
- Assist with the implementation of new test methods
- Adjust priorities as needed to ensure prompt delivery of test reports.
- Communicate results and deviations from testing activities to the Laboratory Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Minimum 1 year experience using one or more of the following:
- IR
- UV-VIS
- HPLC/GC
- Culture based microbiological methods (e.g. Pertrifilm™ )
